Iso Acoustics Aperta Sub

With a sculpted aluminum frame and patented IsoAcoustics integrated isolators, the Aperta Sub introduces a new standard in acoustic isolation for subwoofers. The Aperta Sub decouples the subwoofers from the supporting surface to prevent the physical transfer of energy that excites the supporting surface, causes room rattle, and disturbs your neighbors. The patented IsoAcoustics isolation also prevents the subwoofer vibrations from reflecting on the supporting surface and being conducted back up the subwoofer cabinet. Managing these reflections eliminates muddy bass smears and reveals greater clarity and definition. Carpet disks are included with the Aperta Sub for use on carpeted surfaces. The carpet disks provide a strong connection through the carpet to provide a solid foundation for the Aperta Sub. The Aperta Sub has a low-profile design at 10.5” (265mm) wide x 11.5” (290mm) depth x 1.3” (33mm) height and is designed to be used with front-firing and side-firing subwoofers that weigh up to 80 lbs (36.3 kg). The innovative shape allows the Aperta Sub to be positioned directly underneath the subwoofer cabinet without interference with the existing subwoofer feet. With a large driver producing low frequencies, the subwoofer creates a large amount of energy that can excite the supporting surface, interfere with other audio components and annoy your neighbors. The Aperta Sub provides a high degree of isolation and cleans up the muddy low-frequency sound to reveal more clarity and definition. The unique patented isolators are directional and are designed to be positioned with the logo facing forward, to resist lateral deflection and oscillations, for greater accuracy and focus. Aperta sub-Black XL- Measuring 14.5″ wide x 16″ deep (368x406mm) the new Aperta Sub XL brings the patented IsoAcoustics isolation technology to larger subwoofers of up to 160 lbs / 72.5 kg. Taming the power of such mighty speakers is no easy feat, but IsoAcoustics managed to build on the design of the Aperta Sub for smaller subwoofers to perfectly support heavier models. The new Aperta Sub XL will be available in June 2023.
