  The Rega Reference EBLT drive belt represents the pinnacle of drive belt technology, developed through extensive research and advanced tooling. Standard on all Planar 8 and Planar 10 turntables since March 8th, 2021, this belt is engineered from a proprietary compound using precise custom tooling. Each belt undergoes cryogenic freezing and barrel polishing to achieve flawless cross-sectional roundness, essential for exceptional speed accuracy and stability. It offers a 50% longer lifespan than previous models and includes a specialized curing process to ensure maximum precision. Testing shows a significant reduction in Wow and Flutter, with the Reference belt measuring as low as 0.075%, outperforming older and advanced EBLT belts.
